The long-awaited return date of the hit drama series Yellowstone has finally been announced. After a nearly two-year wait, the show will make its way back to Paramount Network on Sunday, November 10.
Yellowstone tells the story of the Dutton family, who controls the largest contiguous cattle ranch in the United States. Amid shifting alliances, unsolved murders, open wounds, and hard-earned respect — the ranch is in constant conflict with those it borders — an expanding town, an Indian reservation, and America’s first national park.
Despite the show’s raging popularity and the various spin-offs it has successfully produced, such as 1883, 1923, and the upcoming 6666, it was revealed last year that Yellowstone will unfortunately be ending with season 5. It’s worth noting that Paramount’s press release today about the show’s upcoming return did not cite this as the “second half of season 5,” nor did it mention anything about this being the “series finale,” so it remains to be seen how many episodes still await, and if they’ll officially be closing out the series for good.
Yellowstone is co-created by Taylor Sheridan and John Linson.
The return of Yellowstone will air on Paramount Network on Sunday, November 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The series is currently filming in Montana.
