The adventure of Tanjiro Kamado is coming to an end, this time with a trilogy of films.
Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment will release the films worldwide, excluding select Asian territories including Japan, exclusively in theaters. There are no release dates currently, but the trilogy will encompass the final Infinity Castle arc as the Demon Slayer Corps takes on Muzan Kibutsuji in a final epic showdown.
“Demon Slayer has been a phenomenal franchise, and we at Crunchyroll are delighted to have been a part of it from the beginning,” said Rahul Purini, President of Crunchyroll. “Crunchyroll is thrilled to be able to bring this trilogy of films to fans, on the big screen, and it promises to be one of the truly epic and consequential pop cultural events of our time when it hits theaters.”
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is based on the manga series by Koyoharu Gotoge published under SHUEISHA’s JUMP COMICS, which consists of 23 volumes and over 150 million copies in publication.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is currently available to stream on Crunchyroll. The English dub of the Hashira Training Arc premieres today, June 30.
